We do not offer dinner at Torlinnhe, however we have selected a handful of local restaurants below for you to choose from.  Please be aware restaurants are very busy from May to end of September.  We advise you book well in advance. Please remember that you are in the rural Highlands, many of our restaurants stop serving food at 9pm.

 

Fort William Town Centre – just over a mile,  15-20 min  low level walk or 5 min in a taxi/car

Sonas Fort William

New venue that offers locally grown fish, meat and vegetables. It has nice atmosphere and lovely cocktails.

The Geographer 

Lovely little independent restaurant in town.  Walk in only. They do not take reservations,

Highland Cinema Café Bar

Spice Tandoori

Good Indian Restaurant.  In the unpedestrianised part of the High Street (this end).  Serves food late. No need to book.

Most pubs on the High Street operate on a walk in basis.

Some local pubs such as Volunteer Arms and Grog and Gruel have live bands on Friday and Saturday. Check out their Facebook page for more information.

Ben Nevis Inn

Walkers’ inn.

About a mile and a half into Glen Nevis on the Achintee side of the river.  Or you can park at the Glen Nevis Visitor Centre and walk up to it.  Ask for directions, its not easy to find.

Old Pines Restaurant

Traditional Scottish food, locally sourced and freshly cooked.  Spean Bridge, 12 miles. Just off the A82 towards Inverness, turn left just by the Commando Memorial.
