West Highland Museum

Discover the story of Lochaber and it’s people at the West Highland Museum.  The collection includes an unusual collection of artefacts relating to Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobite cause.  There is also a fascinating collection of Commando artefacts.  Visit Room 2, lined with the panelling from the Governor’s house at the old fort where the order for the infamous Massacre of Glencoe was signed in 1692.  Located in Cameron Square in the High Street, right in the middle of the town.  The museum is free but asks for donations.
