You can book securely online or just check our availability and prices for specific dates below. Enter your preferred arrival date, the number of nights you wish to stay and press the search button.

As a guide, our 2018 bed and breakfast rates are £85 in the Spring and £98 in the Summer and Autumn based on two people sharing a twin or double room for either one or two nights.

We accept most major credit cards.

Our online booking facility is safe and secure.  It is operated on our behalf by FreeToBook ensuring full compliance with the latest privacy legislation and credit card security standards.  You can also book direct by telephone or email if you prefer.  With all bookings we request a 10% non-refundable deposit which is easily paid by credit/debit card.

Did you know, Expedia and the other big Online Travel Agent sites charge B&Bs up to 20% commission plus VAT on all bookings made through them?  We are not listed with any OTA sites as we believe that money is better spent ensuring our guests are comfortable and well fed.  Booking direct with us directly is not just the cheapest way to book it is the only way!  Our availability is listed on TripAdvisor and on our local Fort William B&B group websites but your booking is always made directly with us.  We will always send a booking confirmation by email once we have received the booking and processed the deposit.  That way you can be sure that your booking is secure and that we are looking forward to your arrival at Torlinnhe.

Our normal check in time is between 4pm and 9pm. This is to allow us time to service and clean rooms between guests. Please let us know if you’ll be earlier than 4pm so that we can ensure your room is ready for you and that we are here to welcome you. We prefer guests to check in by 9pm at the latest to avoid disturbing other guests. However, we realise that sometimes this is not possible. If you require a late check in, we would appreciate it if you would discuss it with us prior to booking. We do not accept bookings where the arrival time is after 11pm.

Checkout is normally by 10am but if you need the room for longer please just ask us and we’ll see if we can help. You are welcome to use the guest lounge prior to departure.


Booking accommodation by telephone, e-mail or in writing means you have entered into a legally binding contract with us. At the time of booking, we take a small non-refundable deposit from your debit/credit card.

We recognise that there are times when a booking may need to be cancelled. Should you need to do so please contact us as soon as possible and always confirm immediately in writing by post or email. Once we have your written confirmation we will acknowledge receipt by return and advise the extent of any charges which may apply.

We will make every effort to re-let the room(s) and if successful will refund any cancellation charges levied (excluding the non-refundable deposit). The sooner we are notified of the need to cancel the more likely we will be able to re-let the room and therefore refund any cancellation charges applied.

If you cancel your booking 7 days or more before the arrival date – we will retain the non-refundable deposit.

If you cancel your booking within 7 days of the arrival date – we will retain the non-refundable deposit. We will make every effort to re-let your room(s).  However, if we are unable to do so, then we will charge the balance of the first night’s stay with us.

If you fail to check in or cancel on the day of check in, we may make a charge equal to the full amount of the booking.

If after your arrival you choose to curtail your stay and leave before the end of the full duration of your booking, we reserve the right to charge you an amount up to the full balance for your booking.

We advise you to take out holiday cancellation insurance so that you may recover any cancellation charge in the event of a charge being levied.

Between 1st May and 30th September we can normally only accept bookings of two nights or more except where we have one night gaps between longer bookings. Please check for availability using the search facility above.
We do not accept bookings for groups requiring more than 4 rooms.
We cannot accommodate children under 12 years of age.
We do not accept pets.
